Eight Executive Board positions – the President, Vice-President, Treasurer and five Members at Large were up for election.
Current President, Raymon Blondel of The Netherlands, stood un-opposed and was re-elected by the Membership for a second four-year term.
Natalija Novikova of Latvia was elected Vice-President whilst Terje Roel of Norway was elected to the position of Treasurer.
Tiago Carvalho of Portugal, Njomza Emini of Kosovo, Asa Llinares Norlin of Sweden, Anita Urr of Hungary, and Tomas Varga of Slovakia were elected as Members-at-Large.
The Chairperson of the Athletes’ Council, Markus Salcher, who was appointed in 2024 after a nomination process to form the first European Paralympic Committee Athletes’ Council, is the ninth Member of the European Paralympic Committee Executive Board and will continue in his role.
The 2025 European Paralympic Committee General Assembly followed the 2025 European Paralympic Committee Conference on Friday (29 August). The conference – A More Inclusive Europe: The Role of Para Sport – featured nearly 150 representatives of Member and partner organisations from across Europe. Delegates focused on sharing learnings and best practice on social impact and what role the European Paralympic Committee can play on behalf of Members, as well as what activities are taking place at a national and regional level, as part of the development of the 2025-2033 European Paralympic Committee Strategic Plan.
Both events were hosted by ParalympicsGB at the Park Plaza Hotel in central London.
