 | | For the third successive year at the ITF 1 Series event, and for the first time this season, world No. 1 Vergeer was taken to a deciding set in the women's singles final. World No. 2 Korie Homan, also from the Netherlands, forced a third set after winning the final two games of the second set. However, once again Vergeer came up with the big points in the decider and clinched a 62 57 63 victory to extend her unbeaten record to 377 matches.
Olsson won his second title of 2009 in retaining the men's main draw singles title. The Swedish world No. 6 and top seed beat third seed Robin Ammerlaan (Netherlands) for the second time in three weeks to edge Sunday's final 46 75 63.
However, the quad singles final was nowhere near as close as world No. 1 Wagner dropped just one game in beating his compatriot and second seed Nick Taylor.
Ammerlaan partially made up for the disappointment of losing the men's singles final when he paired up with Satoshi Saida (Japan) to win the men's main draw doubles. Second seeds Ammerlaan and Saida beat Dutch top seeds Maikel Scheffers and Ronald Vink 62 26 64.
The women's doubles final also went to three sets as two-time Paralympic champions Vergeer and Maaike Smit attempted to win their first tournament together since June 2007. However, despite posing a considerable challenge for top seeds Jiske Griffioen and Homan, fourth seeds Vergeer and Smit eventually had to be content with the runners-up honours, top seeds Griffioen and Homan prevailing 64 46 64.
Taylor and Wagner eased their way to the doubles titles title, winning their second and final round-robin match against Bryan Barten (USA) and Antonio Raffaele (Italy) 61 62.
