Paralympic athletes to compete at Pescara Mediterranean Games
Paralympic track athletes and swimmers will take part in four events for athletes with disabilities at the 16th Mediterranean Games in Pescara, Italy.
Two track events are scheduled for the Adriatico Stadium – Men’s T54 1 500 m and Women’s T54 800 m. At the Naiadi Swimming Complex the S10 category will be showcased in the men’s and women’s 100m freestyle.
The Meditteranean Games bring together athletes from European, African and Asian countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea. The first edition was held in Alexandria, Egypt, in 1951.
