Vergeer extended her own remarkable unbeaten record to 360 matches as she beat world No. 2 Korie Homan in a repeat of the 2008 women's singles final. Homan made a bold attempt at taking the contest in to a third set, but Vergeer finally sealed a 62 75 victory.

Homan and Vergeer were on the same side of the net in the women's doubles final and the top seeds went on to record a comfortable 62 63 victory over Annick Sevenans (BEL) and Aniek Van Koot (NED).

Japan’s Kunieda  was made to fight hard for the defence of his men's singles title after being taken to three sets by Stephane Houdet from France.

Kunieda won the important points in the first set before first-time Roland Garros finalist and world No. 2 Houdet forced his way back in the match and snatched the second set. Kunieda took a 5-3 lead in the final set and although Houdet had two game points to reduce the deficit to 5-4, he was unable to take his opportunities as Kunieda closed out a 63 36 63 victory to retain his unbeaten record that stretches back to the start of 2008.

Meanwhile, the last match of the tournament saw Houdet partially make up for his singles disappointment as he paired up to record victory with his countryman Michael Jeremiasz. The top seeds and reigning Paralymic champions became Roland Garros champions after a 62 75 victory over Dutch pairing Robin Ammerlaan and Maikel Scheffers.
