25-05-2009BT Paralympic World Cup 2009 comes to a close in Manchester
Today sees the final day of action at this year’s BT Paralympic World Cup in Manchester, England. Swimming closes the event this year with 15 events on the card today at the Manchester Aquatics Centre, which was purpose-built for the 2002 Commonwealth Games.

Spectators and British TV viewers have witnessed six days of elite competition in four sports – wheelchair basketball, athletics, track cycling and swimming – featuring top-class athletes, many Paralympic medallists at last year’s Beijing games.
