Back | | | 20-04-2009 | New-look Paralympian released | | This year’s first issue of The Paralympian, the official magazine of the International Paralympic Committee, has been released. The design and layout have been revamped to meet the demands of readers and reflect their desire for an improved design and an easier-to-read format.
|  | | Among other article, the magazine features: “The Road to Vancouver” – a front-page feature providing an update on qualification for the 2010 Vancouver Paralympic Games. “Future games” – information on Vancouver 2010, London 2012, Sochi 2014 and the candidate cities for the 2016 summer games. Athletics Summit – an article on the recent IPC Athletics Summit held in Bonn to discuss the future of the sport. Para-Cycling – The UCI Para-Cycling Co-ordinator looks back on the events at the Beijing Paralympic Games and outlines future events. Beijing 2008 stats – figures from the 2008 games.
