 | | The premises have three separate offices, a large meeting room, an accessible bathroom and shared spaces. The office building also houses some major international companies and embassies. Renovation work has been carried out to ensure the office is fully accessible for wheelchair users and people with other types of disabilities. Work is nearing completion on facilities such as office furniture, IT equipment, telecommunications (telephone, fax, internet) and decoration, and everything is expected to be finished by the end of August. Full contact details for the new EPC home will be posted on this web site when they become available. The EPC Executive Board will be holding its first meeting at the new office from October 3rd to 5th. Work is ongoing to arrange an official launch ceremony in autumn involving the Austrian Federal Chancellor, Mr. Alfred Gusembauer, and many representatives from the European Paralympic family. The date is yet to be confirmed with the Austrian Chancellery. The office will provide support for the work of the Executive Board but, above all, it will be the new home for the European Paralympic movement. Each and every EPC member should feel they have an HQ in Vienna and everyone is encouraged to make full use of the facilities EPC now enjoys. |
