The matches form part of UEFA’s “Respect” programme for the tournament under the slogan “Football for All”. The initiative, the brainchild of UEFA President Michel Platini, aims to provide footballers with disabilities with a showcase to demonstrate their skills to a wide audience and show them the respect they deserve. The exhibition matches will be held on the pitches forty-five minutes before kick-off.
