07-03-2008Paralympic World Cup announces media accreditation info
This year’s Paralympic World Cup will take place in Manchester, England from 7th – 11th May 2008.The event, billed as the biggest annual multi-sport competition for elite athletes with a disability, will once again take place at three city venues: the Manchester Velodrome, the Manchester Aquatics Centre and the Manchester Regional Arena.

Athletes will compete against each other in Wheelchair Basketball and Athletics, with this year’s programme welcoming an extended two-day event for both Track Cycling and Swimming.

 

Track Cycling will follow a two-day format closely replicating that of the World Track Cycling Championships and Swimming incorporates the staging of the British Swimming Paralympic World Cup Legacy sessions on Friday and Saturday morning, with the Paralympic World Cup finals taking place on Saturday afternoon as in previous years.
