21-01-2008IBSA releases pools for goalball tournament at 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games
IBSA (International Blind Sports Federation) has announced the pools for the goalball competition at this year's Paralympic Games in Beijing. Pool A is an all-European affair while pool B will see Sweden in action against top teams from all over the world.

The goalball tournament begins on Sunday September 7th and concludes with the finals the following Sunday.

 

Men's pools

  

Pool A: Lithuania, Slovenia, Denmark, Spain, Finland, Belgium

 

Pool B: Sweden, USA, Canada, Iran, China, Brazil

 

Women's Pool: Canada, China, USA, Denmark, Germany, Japan, Brazil, Sweden

Wheelchair basketball will conduct the draw for its Beijing tournament next Wednesday in the Chinese capital.
