23-11-2007Germany and Norway lead the way at 2007 Ice Sledge Hockey European Championships
Germany and Norway, with 12 points each after five days of play, head the standings at the 2007 Ice Sledge Hockey European Championships in Pinerolo, Italy.

Ice sledge hockey final at the Torino Paralympic Games. 

Seven teams are competing for the title of European champions in Italy. In third place is the Czech Republic with 9 points, followed by Sweden with 6.

 

Today sees Sweden take on Norway, the Czech Republic face Germany and hosts Italy play Poland. Estonia have a rest day.

 

If results go to form, the championships will be decided in the final match between Germany and Norway tomorrow (Saturday 24th November) at 6 pm.
