Back | | | 05-02-2007 | European Handball Federation presents Wheelchair Handball | | The European Handball Federation has developed a wheelchair version of the sport to enable people with a physical disability to play the game. Wheelchair Handball, presented as part of the federation’s “Wheels on Fire” project launched in September 2006, aims to open up the sport to athletes with disabilities by adapting handball rules.
