Ms. Saskia Kanfer, a native of Vienna, has been recruited to take up a position offering administrative support to EPC. |

| EPC announces major support from European Union | 21-07-2008 EPC has announced it is to receive major backing from the European Commission for 2008 and 2009. The committee has been awarded an EU grant to cover ordinary running and operating expenses as part of the "Europe for Citizens" programme, aimed at promoting active European citizenship for the period between 2007 and 2013. |

| New EPC HQ in Vienna set to open | 15-07-2008 EPC has now been presented with the keys to its new office and headquarters in central Vienna. On July 1st the Austrian government handed over use of the 95 square metre premises, located in the centre of Vienna opposite the State Opera House, to the committee. |
