Report to the EPC General Assembly – Athens 28th September 2003

European Championships
In 2002 two Championships were held. These championships were held according to the calendar of the relevant IPC SEACs:

Cup-events were organized in: Ski Nordic and Alpine Ski

In 2003 six championships and 3 Cup events are on the program. In the championship program about 1400 athletes and in the cup events another 200 athletes will be involved. EPC thanks the organizer to take the responsibility for the events and championships. EPC also thanks the headquarter of IPC for the administrative support.

EPC regrets, that in this Pre-Paralympic year no championship in swimming could be organized. EPC also regrets, that Greek as the place for the Paralympics next took not the responsibility to use European events as tests.

Futur championships
A contract for the European championships Athletics were signed with the Finnish NPC. The 2nd championship will be held in Espoo (Finland) from 17th to 28th August 2005. EPC also received official bids for championships in 2005 for Cycling and Table Tennis.

European Sport Coordinators
There are some changes in the list of the Coordinators. I attach an actual overview of the European Sport Coordinators.
